Which one is right for me? Full or Mini Session | Los Angeles, CA Family Photographer

Should I choose a Full Session or a Mini Session?

I’ve been asked this question before and it’s a good one. Pumpkin Lattes are in season and that means that so are Mini Sessions, but you may be wondering what the difference is between a Full Session and a Mini Session and why everyone wouldn’t just want the quicker and cheaper Mini Sessions.

Each one has their own pros and cons and so I’ve listed them out for you below!

Full Sessions:

  • 100% customized for your family & your vision for the session

  • You choose the location

  • You choose the date & time

  • Full 60-90 minutes with plenty of time to play and roam around

  • Variety of poses, both directed and candid shots of numerous configurations

  • 10 Fully Edited High Resolution Images included

  • 30-50 + image gallery to choose additional Digital Images from as well as Prints

Mini Sessions:

  • Photographer chooses location

  • Limited times & dates available

  • Convenient way to get quick, updated family photos

  • Less shooting time - 15 Minutes

  • Only Basic Posing and Configurations

  • 5 Fully Edited High Resolution Images included

  • 20-25 image gallery to choose additional Digital Images from as well as Prints

A Full Session is perfect for you if …

— Your kiddos - or husband ;) - need some time to warm up to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera

— You want to change outfits

— You have a specific location in mind

— You love candid/unposed images and moving around a lot with your family

— You prefer to pay a little more to have exactly what you want

A Mini Session is perfect for you if …

— Your kiddos are a little older and warm up easily to new people

— You are okay with basic poses and mostly “looking and smiling” photo(s).

— You’re mostly concerned with price, but still want great quality photos

— You’ve had professional photos this year
